Help, I cannot notch the green beam where I have extended the blue beam.I can do this on all other beams, and even the other end of this beam.

Hello,
I opened your position, and used 3-8-1 on this corner connection, and it worked fine.
This is the lap joint function. Were you using the 3-8-4 notch function?
I hope this solves the problem.

We have used the Half-Lap joint to create a lap between the green and blue beams.
Then we have exploded the lap joint on the blue beam, and changed the size of the lap so it notches into the green beam by 15mm on each side.
Now we need to notch the green beam to remove this 15mm of timber.
It works on one side only, but not the other side.
We have tried this on several beams, and it works all works fine except for this one.

Sometimes you just have to replace the beam and do it again.

I cannot find a big difference between the two ends of the green beam. The intersections seem to be the same.
I just found a difference in the height position of the blue beams of about 0.3mm from end end of the green beam to the other end.
But where do you want to create a notch?
Perhaps I am blind...

With the notch I too cannot produce this process but it would be easier anyway if you would use the the function 3-07-1 for the whole connection.
Use the settings of the picture and select the green beam first.
