Parallel line off arc

Ok...I want to draw a parallel line at the top point of the arc see png. and draw it parallel to the lower assisting geometry line. Can anyone help?

To make it parallel use offset. To know the distance you'll have to create a point on the arc line, perpendicular to the line and then measure that length (maybe).....

Hi Kayaker,

You can also copy the line up to the point and adjust the ends.
