I don't know, but you can find it out easily:
store a new setting, then look in windows explorer, which file was changed in the last 2 minutes. Smile

Hi Mike,

you can copy the *.dsi files from your Dietrichs07 - Winvor - Eng directory. But the easier way would have been to make a parallel installation. I would propose the last way because that way you can avoid discovering other settings that have not been copied.

Best regards,

Jens

Thanks Der_Planer / Jens

Jens - When I installed the update I tried to make a parallel installation but a warning flagged up a saying it could not find any previous versions and I had to make a new installation. I also had this problem going from Ver 5.12 to Ver 6 - its no problem as I keep a list of files to copy over (apart from the aforementioned!!!)

Hi Mike,

our installation routine searches for the desktop icons to find existing Dietrich's Versions. If you delete the desktop icons, we cannot find the older Version. To avoid this problem you could temporarily make a desktop icon for the installation.

Best regards,

Jens

That make sense - I always keep my desktop clear and delete all the shortcuts - I will try that on future updates

Thanks
