Sproket of hip rafter

Post Posted: 05.04.2005 19:51

I don't know how to work around with problem of sprocket of hip rafter. Main hip rafter has process 'hip cut' at top side. The sprocket lays on hip rafter and has flat bottom side. I used option 'butt joint' (roof design module) to aligned sprocket to hip rafter. The result is sprocket lays on edge of 'hip cut' of main hip rafter. I try to transfer process from hip rafter to sprocket but according system message it is impossible.

Hi Plen,

it would be nice if you would attach a picture, e.g. a screenshot, to your post to get an image of your problem.

Regards,

Jens

Hi Plen.

Do you want to create a V-cut in bottom side of the sprocket? Then you can use the D-CAM function: tools -> V-cuts-> general.

Jens

hello

Thank you for advise. I thought about some automatic process, but your solution is also ok.
