Roof design - how to put items?

Post Posted: 30.12.2006 12:00

I think I have another point for the wish list - I wish that roof design in addition to what can be done today - is more like wall design.

For example:

1) How to put OSB boards on the roof?
2) How to put items that are not rafters but you want to put battens manually?

What I mean is that roof design seems not to be as flexible as it could be. Maybe later I will show a picture of what I want to do, but I have to do it with rafters.

Here is a picture of the roof - now I have put the battens as I like them to be. Now I want to put OSB boards on top, as roof surface for bitumen, to be put on top. But how to put those OSB boards???

I do not understand your problem.
You can create the battens in Roof calculation with function 5-2 (tiles) or you can enter them in Roof Design as Rising Plates (5-3-4). Perhaps you could do it easier with then special function in Profil.

The OSB panels can be entered very easy in Roof Calculation with the function 5-04. Perhaps you do not have this function because of the modul of the program you are using. (I do not know your moduls.)

No, I don't have function 5-04 in roof calculation.... Sad (and crying)...

Ha, ha, very funny - but unfortunately it is not me who is sitting on the money... Wink

What does this extra module cost?
